早在去年（2019 年）11 月 5 日时，Adobe 官方就表示 Adobe Illustrator 将会在 2020 年带入 iPad 上。而在今年 9 月份时，根据App Store 中的列表显示，Adobe Illustrator 已在 App Store 上架，不过那时候还不允许用户进行下载。经过数月的测试，就在今日（10 月 21 日），iPad 版本的 Adobe Illustrator 就正式于 App Store 开放下载啦！

iPad 版本的 Adobe Illustrator 是专为触控屏以及 Apple Pencil 所设计的。iPad 版本的 Adobe Illustrator 简单操作，没有牺牲任何的主要功能。尽管是桌面版本 Adobe Illustrator 的文件，也可以在 iPad 上无缝地打开和进行编辑。

由于 Adobe Illustrator 支持 Apple Pencil，所以使用 iPad 版本的 Adobe Illustrator，绘图也很简单方便。

值得一提的是，虽然下载 Adobe Illustrator 无需付费，但是用户需要创建一个 Creative Cloud 账号并签购月费以订阅 Illustrator。
